I'm not a corporate chain. I'm a local business owner. I own [# of locations] [Brand] location(s) in [City], employ [#] people from our community, and make the day-to-day decisions that keep our doors open.

For more than a decade, the federal joint employer rules have kept changing, and each change put that independence at risk. The American Franchise Act (H.R. 5267) would set one clear, lasting standard so owners like me can focus on our teams and customers instead of regulatory whiplash.

The bill has 142 bipartisan cosponsors and has cleared committee. Now it needs a House floor vote. I'm asking [Rep. Name] to help get it done this year.

832,000+ franchise businesses are waiting on Congress for certainty.

The bipartisan #AmericanFranchiseAct would end a decade of shifting joint employer rules and protect local owners' independence.

It passed committee in July. Time for a floor vote. @[YourRep] #Franchising #FranchiseMeansLocal

When you visit our [Brand] in [City], you're supporting a locally owned small business and the [#] neighbors who work here.  Franchise owners like us need clear, consistent rules to keep growing and hiring. That's why we support the American Franchise Act, a bipartisan bill that protects franchise owners' independence and gives Main Street the long-term certainty it needs.

Ask your member of Congress to support the American Franchise Act!
